The Seventh Month - December 9, 2007

It's hard to believe that half a year has gone by. Britton is now 6 months old, 25 1/2 inches and 17lbs. 2oz.

Britton started to eat more and more food, as well as make a bigger mess!
He also has gotten up on all fours; he's trying so hard!
On November 11, 2007 Britton played baby Jesus at a youth musical at our church.
He cried just a little but everyone thought it was perfect!

Britton also experienced his first outreach project with On the Go Ministries. We went on their Thanksgiving outreach to the inner city of Nashville.

He also went to his first hockey game - the Predators versus Blackhawks on November 15, 2007.
He also loves his new bathtub that his best friend Reed gave him.
Auntie Meghan came home for Thanksgiving and we had a great time with her!
Britton loves his cousins - Shelby and Will!

Overall, we had a great Thanksgiving and have so much to be thankful for. God is good!

The Sixth Month - November 9, 2007

5 months old already! It was a month 0f many firsts.

Britton started to eat some cereal at dinner; it was quite comical the first time he tried it!

He just wasn't sure about it.

He loves being outside and playing or watching Savannah. Anytime he's fussy we take him outside and he calms right down.

Out to eat at our favorite restaurant, Panera.
Auntie Meghan came to stay with us for a weekend.

He also got his first 2 teeth within 4 days of each other. He actually did really well with that!

Our first time at the park.

We went to a pumpkin patch and picked some pumpkins.
Britton's first hayride, he loved the scenery but even more so he loves to be carried in the wrap.

Britton had his baby dedication at Springfield Baptist church on October 21, 2007.

We went on a little vacation with Drew and Erin Cobb to Memphis. We had a great time at the zoo!

Abbey and I took the boys to Honeysuckle Farms for a play date. They had a pumpkin patch, animals, hayride, cornfield and tractor races. There wasn't a lot for them to do this year but I'm sure they'll love it next year!
Halloween 2007. Britton looked way too cute in his little outfit!

Our church had a fall festival for Halloween. This is Britton and his best friend Reed all dressed up. I'm not sure if they really enjoyed being in the hot outfits!
We dressed up as a family for Halloween and also during our annual friends costume party.

This is Jimmy and Meilyn, dressed as Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt - with all their kids! They won best costume that night!

The Fifth Month - October 9, 2007

Britton is now 4 months old. He is such a joy to be around. He is laughing and playing all the time. He's also starting to interact more with us.

Showing off his muscles!

Britton is rolling around all the time and also sat up by himself for a little bit. We actually caught that one on camera!
My grandmother, Oma Versteeg, Britton's greatgrandmother came for a visit. All us girls (and Britton) traveled to Knoxville/Gatlinburg for a couple of nights. It was great to get away! Britton was so excited to see Auntie Meghan!

Oma really loves her first great grandchild!

September 20, 2007 Reed and Britton met eachother for the first time. We have been praying for Reed since Abbey and Jeff found out and it was so good to finally meet him and hold him.

September 30, 2007 Reed and Britton both came to Sunday school with their mommy's today.

The Fourth Month - September 9, 2007

Britton is now 14lbs. 15oz. and 24 1/4 inches long. It's hard to believe how quickly he has grown as well as how fast time is flying by. He loves to stand up all the time and talks like he's having a conversation. He also is laughing and giving "kisses"!

Auntie Meghan - she's living in Knoxville so we loved when she came to visit!
His first pair of sunglasses!

This month we went to Green Turtle Bay for a family trip. We had a lot of fun and Britton loved being outside.
Britton's first boat ride!
Our family on vacation for the first time.
My dad and step mom also came to visit this month so it was nice to visit with them. This is Brayden, our nephew with his cousin Britton.
Auntie Marsha (my aunt) was also able to come down from Canada. She was really excited about meeting Britton.

Britton and I were able to spend a little time with my dad, it was so good to see him!

We have been blessed with such a happy, content baby!
