Gingerbread House

When I was little, every year, we would make gingerbread houses near Christmas.
Since Britton has been born, we have also done this the past two years.
At first Britton was more interested in blowing out the candles that I had lite.
I'm not sure how he learned how to do it, but every time he sees a lite candle, he wants to blow it out.
Brandon decided to take some pictures tonight, including this one!
Finally Britton realized there were a lot of candies on the table!

Here is our completed house, although there was some more one it, Britton decided to pull some off!

Getting too Big!

It's hard to believe how quickly Britton has grown up, I feel that every day he is changing!
One of my mom's patients made these shirts for Britton around his first birthday and they're getting way to small; so I decided to take a couple pictures before he grew out of them.
He wasn't quite sure about all the picture taking!
But he did think it was pretty funny to keep getting dressed/undressed!

Boxing Day

I had to work the day after Christmas in the morning, so Uncle Jordan and Auntie Courtney came to stay with Britton.
Since Jordan doesn't have any hair, he decided to style Britton's!
After work, we went over to my parents for Christmas dinner and just to hang out.

Christmas

During this busy season, I hope you take the time to remember the true meaning of the season - the birth of Jesus Christ.
Santa did come to visit Britton last night.

The only problem was that he slept till 10:30 this morning!

I don't think he has ever slept that late.

By the time he woke up, he was still kind of sleepy and it took awhile to realize that all the presnets were for him!

He had ridden a Big Wheels at his cousins house and that's what Santa (Brandon) just had to get him!

We know it's way too big for him, but he loves it!

I bought Brandon and Britton the complete set of Hallmark football champions.
I thought it would be neat to have a football tree next year!

He also loved his Veggie Tales movie,
cars,
bath toy and Elmo camera.

His last gift was something to him, from myself.
I absolutely love the saying on this frame!
Britton also really liked the puzzle
and the Elmo that sings and dances!

After Christmas at our house, we went back to my parents for Christmas. Normally we spend this day with Brandon's family but since his dad is still in the hospital we spent it with mine.

We tried to take a family picture but Britton just wanted to play!

Finally we started opening presents and Britton stuck around to open a couple.

He thought some of them were taped a whole lot - Oma loves to use lots of tape!

Britton was spoilt once again!
He was really excited about the Little People Farm he got from Oma and Papa.

Unfortunately, Brandon wasn't feeling to well after we ate so this was one of the last times he was smiling today. He spent the rest of the day in the bed :(

Yes, that is an old toy he is playing with! All his new toys and he goes to the older ones!
All of us kids went in together and bought mom a kitchen aid mixer, she was so excited!
Robert bought her a couple things to go with it so that made her even more excited! She's been wanting one for years!
