We finally made it to
Oma Versteeg's house which is in
Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada.
Britton decided to try on
Opa's shoes before he left!
Opa, my dad, left the truck so we could drive the next day and his dad came and picked him up.
Oma brought out some of the old toys we used to play with. There were even toys that my uncles had played with as kids!
Uncle Howard and Lori came over to play for a little while.
He was really impressed that
Britton liked playing with his old toys.
Uncle Gary also came for a short visit. It was really good to see everyone.
I think
Britton was a little overwhelmed by all the attention but he did really well!
Finally our cousins, Mitch and Bryce came over and
Britton was just mesmerized by them.
Mitch is 6'2" and plays hockey for the
Lethbridge Hurricanes and Bryce is 6'4" and plays baseball. They're Kris' brothers. Somehow I think their family was blessed with
athleticism!
Don't Meghan and I look short beside Bryce and Mitch! Finally it was time for bed, all three of us in a double bed, nice and cozy!
