We drove most of the way to Destin yesterday, spent the night and then arrived in Destin this morning.
Our first stop was at Destin Commons, where they had a great little playground for Britton to run some energy off.
We couldn't have asked Britton to be any better on the way. He traveled like a pro!
It was so good to be out of the car though and running around.
Our condo wasn't quite ready so we headed for lunch at McGuire's Irish Pub. This was the view from our condo when we arrived!
Meghan, Bethany and I took a little walk on the beach while Britton napped.
Much to our surprise, we saw at least 8 dolphins jumping out of the water!
It was amazing to see how close they were!
When I went back to check on Britton and Brandon, you could still see the dolphins off of our balcony. God's creation is amazing!
We ate dinner at the Back Porch and then took Britton out to the beach for a minute. He was not impressed with the sand or the loud sound of the waves crashing. Hopefully tomorrow he will enjoy it more!
