Ultimate Frisbee

Britton had gotten another 20 purple or pink (the best behavior) at school so he was able to go to the movies for his achievement. Papa decided to take Britton this time so they headed out for some boy time and mom and I took Paityn to get her nails done for the first time. She was so patient and well behaved!

After we headed to the park to watch ultimate frisbee. They had been playing for a little while and apparently were having a great time. Nine we arrived, Brandon was laying flat on his back.

Peyton was laying down waiting for the frisbee and came out of hiding to try and score, but missed.

It was a beautiful cold day.

Go Trace!

The game was pretty hard core.q

I'm not sure if some of them could walk the next day!

The cold and freezing cheering squad.

We had a great turn out. A lot of our college kids and then some of our younger youth.

Poor Brandon.

Saturday - after a lunch as a family at Panera, we headed to my parents for thanksgiving. Papa made some great wooden things with the kids. Britton even painted his!

Thanksgiving Day

We woke up bright and early to help serve with a Thanksgiving day outreach.

Our family has done this for a few years and always enjoyed it.

Over 500 people were served a thanksgiving meal.

There were so many Rock Springs youth and members that came to help.

I've missed Camille so much!

And of course Brandon provided some great entertainment.

Always stealing the camera and taking some great pictures ;)

Paityn loved playing hide and seek with all these girls.

On our last unity retreat with SBC Camille made this to indicate our unity. Such sweet memories.

We came home and put some Christmas decorations up.

I love decorating and the kids do as well. Brandon not so much!

It's so much fun to see everything through their eyes.

Love this time of the year! We ended our day with a meal with Brandon's family and then Brandon and I braved the crazies to go to Walmart. There were a couple bigger things we were interested in but apparently people had been camping out in the store since 6am! We did manage to get a couple small things for the kids, a new vacuum cleaner, printer and hard wood floor cleaner. Can't believe people spent all day at Walmart to get a few things!

Youth Thanksgiving Potluck

This past Sunday I had the privilege of going to see White Christmas with Natalie!

We had a great time just hanging out, eating some great food and spending time together. I'm so grateful her mom asked me to go!

One of my favorite things about the holiday season is our potlucks at our house for the youth.

I love hearing our house filled with laughter, good food and fun.

Some of our college kids came and hung out with us as well. We are so blessed by all the youth God has placed in our lives.

They did decide to play duck duck goose upstairs and I'm not sure how long it'll take to clean up ;)

So very thankful for all these youth!

Last Soccer Game

It was a beautiful day for the last soccer game.

The kids were ready to play and have improved so much!

Paityn was content to just put on some makeup.

Beautiful!

Britton almost scored and had a great time playing.

It's been a great season.

Best friends.

We left and headed down to Nashville for an outreach. Bailey and Trace joined us as well as the Weavers and some of their friends. Britton, Trace and I got there right at the end because of soccer but we were able to enjoy some time with everyone at lunch.
