Changes

28 weeks


So where do I begin. So many changes in a short period of time. On Monday I began my new job at Northcrest working in a brand new office building. Even though I knew I had made the right choice, it was still overwhelming to be starting fresh again. When I came into work Monday we had the basic essentials and then had stuff coming in all week. It was almost like Christmas every day.


We also sold our house. We really hoped it would sell but when it did, it sold quickly and Brandon being the nice person he is, let them move in before we actually closed. So of course, there were no rentals available that we felt comfortable going too. Luckily, my parents let us move in.


Despite all the changes, the kids have done amazing. So we moved out of our house, to my parents, started a brand new job and started my third trimester. It's never easy....


Britton has been in some trouble at school over the past few weeks, nothing horrible but a definite change from normal behavior. I know that it has to do with all the changes but what another thing to have to process and go through at the same time!


Wednesday - we had an amazing group of kids at youth tonight! Looking to my blessings....

Beech Mountain

We woke up to freezing weather.


There were only three brave guys ready to ski. It ended up being a -20 degree wind chill.


Brandon braved the cold to get the kid's puzzles from the car.











Of course the kids had to pelt daddy with snow balls.











The funny part was watching Paityn's hair get so staticky.


We had to be out of our rooms at 12 and then headed to the main area with the pool and play area.


The guys played some pool,





The kids played with Mitchell. He is so good with our kids.


The three guys returned safe and sound.

We stopped for some great lunch as we were leaving and then headed back home. Successful trip with an amazing group of youth!

Ski Trip

The kids woke up ready to go play in the snow.


It was cold outside!


They played outside while the youth went skiing.


So glad to see they enjoy the snow as much as I do!











We left around lunch and headed to the hill to see the boys.


Snow ball fight first though!


It was snowing and cold but the kids loved it.








Natalie and Olivia had planned to go tubing but unfortunately they no longer had tubing.





The boys came back hungry!


We made pizza and surprisingly they didn't finish it all!

I hope Britton and Paityn love each other as much as these two do.








We have been blessed to work with some amazing youth and enjoyed everyone that went on the trip this weekend!
