Snow Day

We actually had a little snow fall today so we bundled Britton up and I took him outside.

I didn't think he would last very long outside at all with the hat and gloves on.

He was really curious about the snow though.

And couldn't really figure out what the gloves were about.

Here's his footprints in the snow.

Once he got comfortable, he took off! He walked around our house 3 or 4 times and also down to the house next door!

Finally, I was getting really cold, so I brought him up closer to our house.

He wasn't quite sure what to make of the snow.

The dogs loved the snow as well!

Yes, that is daddy waving to us from inside the house. He decided to stay inside where it was nice and warm!

Hopefully we'll see more snow this year!

E-mama's Birthday

It was E-mama's birthday on Thursday so we celebrated on Sunday with some cake and ice cream. The cake had two huge roses of icing on it so I dared Will and Shelby to eat them. They did...

The Park

It was absolutely beautiful today so we packed a picnic supper and headed to the park.

Britton was most excited about the slide.

He was even more excited when he realized his best friend was there as well!

Birthday Present from Auntie Meghan

I know you all are wondering why Auntie Meghan waited so long to get Britton a birthday gift.

She had actually ordered one, but it never arrived, so she decided it was time to get something new.

Britton was so excited when he saw the box...

he starting yelling "choo, choo!"

Auntie Meghan had bought Britton a Thomas "choo, choo" tent!

He was so excited!!!

Even mama got into the tent!

Auntie Meghan also bought him this cool new backpack for school. Thank you for my presents Auntie Meghan!

After his nap today, Britton had a little snack at his table and then also decided to read a little book.

He is growing up so much!

Morning with Auntie Meghan

I had a dentist appointment this morning so Auntie Meghan came to watch Britton. This is how he was when I left!

When he woke up, apparently he was really excited to find one of daddy's measuring tapes.

He knew he wasn't supposed to be playing with it though!

Then Auntie Meghan made him some really good breakfast, strawberry Eggo's!

He was more excited about who was babysitting him though.

Then it was time to play with Elmo.

Britton is actually kind of mean to Elmo, if he falls over he says "oh oh, Elmo fell down, can you help Elmo up please?" and then when you put him back up, he says "thank you, you're Elmo's best friend!" Apparently, Britton really likes to hear him say this! He is always knocking him down!

After Auntie Meghan left, Britton and I just hung out for the day. This was after lunch, even with a dirty face he's adorable!

Hockey Night in Nashville

Kris was ready to play the Predators and we were really excited about watching him!

Britton was mesmerized by the ice, the players and of course Kris!

He was really excited to see that his best friend had made it to the game.

It was Jeff and Abbey's first time to watch a hockey game - I think they had a good time!

Britton did so well, he just watched everything!

No goals, but a couple of penalties!

Kris played well, but Nashville played a little better.

Britton, Brandon and I were still a little sad that the Titans had just lost in the playoffs!

Gnash came to steal Kris' hat after the game.

And of course, since everyone else wanted Kris' signature - we did too!

Britton did so well, it was almost 10:30 at this point, so he was really tired!

A real NHL player is holding me?!
