Decorating

Britton and I worked really hard today and put up some Christmas decorations.

He wanted to try on the "stocking"

When I bought our stockings, I bought an extra one in case we had another child. Now I have to get it monogrammed!

Britton did a great job decorating the Christmas tree.

Even Paityn "helped" a little.

Tonight we went over to my parents for Thanksgiving dinner. Bronson has grown so much already!

We actually found our wedding DVD and watched it. It was funny seeing how much people have changed, what a great memory.

Michael W Smith Christmas Concert

Britton is so strong!

He really helped Brandon and brought all the Christmas lights outside.

They did a great job decorating!

Tonight we went to the Michael W Smith Christmas concert in Nashville.

We had a great dinner at J Alexanders and then headed to the concert.

Paityn loved hanging out with Papa and Britton stayed with Oma almost the entire night.

I almost had a picture of Oma and Britton but of course when I got out the camera, he wouldn't take a picture. It was a great night and a nice way to begin the holiday season.

Thanksgiving Day

This morning we headed to the church to help deliver and make Thanksgiving meals. I had to run an errand so I dropped Brandon off. When I showed up, Brandon was washing dishes!!!! We had to document that moment.

Brandon also served up dressing.

He really helped a lot!

We had a great time at the outreach.

It was great to see some of the youth there, the kids love Melody!

Even Britton helped bring meals.

Brandon also helped pull apart turkey.

I think over 500 meals were delivered today! What a great way to feel thankful this season.

Tonight we went to Jerry and Vickie's house for dinner.

Paityn and Britton loved hanging out with their cousins!

Youth Thanksgiving Dinner

Monday - Britton has taught himself to hang upside down and flip over.

I'm thinking we may need to get him in gymnastics!

Tuesday - We did start to put up some more Christmas decorations. I love Christmas! Tonight was an amazing memory! I was working on something for our youth group and Paityn was crying for me. The next thing I heard was "mama"! Melted my heart, it was her first word! Britton said dada first and so it was an incredible thing to hear my name! Love my little girl.

Wednesday - We had the youth over for pizza Thanksgiving dinner.

It was a great time to just hang out, talk about what we were thankful for and write some thank you notes.

Britton loved having Mason and Mitchell to talk to and play with!

We received some of the kindest thank you notes from the youth. We absolutely love working with them and are so blessed to be apart of their lives.

It really was a great night!

On the Go Thanksgiving

Saturday - Today was On the Go's Thanksgiving outreach.

We went to downtown Nashville, delivered pies and prayed with the people.

Erin, Nash, John and Alannah joined us!

The little girl was not thrilled with John sitting next to her!

The kids loved the youth.

John was trying to teach them to "fly"

Brandon also tried.....

and succeeded!

After the outreach, we headed to PF Changs for lunch. John was trying to read the fortune cookies in Chinese!

Sunday - so happy!
