The Fifth Month - October 9, 2007

Britton is now 4 months old. He is such a joy to be around. He is laughing and playing all the time. He's also starting to interact more with us.

Britton is rolling around all the time and also sat up by himself for a little bit. We actually caught that one on camera!

My grandmother, Oma Versteeg, Britton's greatgrandmother came for a visit. All us girls (and Britton) traveled to Knoxville/Gatlinburg for a couple of nights. It was great to get away! Britton was so excited to see Auntie Meghan!

September 20, 2007 Reed and Britton met eachother for the first time. We have been praying for Reed since Abbey and Jeff found out and it was so good to finally meet him and hold him.

September 30, 2007 Reed and Britton both came to Sunday school with their mommy's today.

The Fourth Month - September 9, 2007

Britton is now 14lbs. 15oz. and 24 1/4 inches long. It's hard to believe how quickly he has grown as well as how fast time is flying by. He loves to stand up all the time and talks like he's having a conversation. He also is laughing and giving "kisses"!

This month we went to Green Turtle Bay for a family trip. We had a lot of fun and Britton loved being outside.

My dad and step mom also came to visit this month so it was nice to visit with them. This is Brayden, our nephew with his cousin Britton.
Auntie Marsha (my aunt) was also able to come down from Canada. She was really excited about meeting Britton.

Britton and I were able to spend a little time with my dad, it was so good to see him!




We have been blessed with such a happy, content baby!

The Third Month - August 9, 2007

Britton is now 2 months old. This month was full of some firsts:

- starting to laugh
- bringing his hands together

- holding his head up 90 degrees when on his stomach

- I went back to work part time

- his first time in the church nursery

The Second Month - July 9, 2007

Britton is already 1 month old! It's hard to believe how quickly the time passes.
He started to enjoy his bathes a little more!

We had our first real smile on June 20, 2007. It's hard to believe how quickly they grow and change. Everyday is a new adventure with something else that occurs.

We are now living at a house of Brandon's that has not sold yet. Our house is not quite finished in Cedar Hill so we had to move to an interim house!

Brandon and I have finally also started to get out and about again. We wanted to wait until he was "full term" but I was starting to go stir crazy! Britton as started to make some baby noises this month so it's been fun to hear him start communicating.

Bethany, my best friend from Canada, came to visit us. It was great to see her and spend time together!

July 4, 2007 - We went over to my parents for dinner and then went to watch the fireworks.

Oma Oudman (my mother) is absolutely infatuated with Britton!

The First Month - June 9, 2007

On Mother's Day, May 13, 2007, we were released from the hospital. Britton was much smaller than we had thought he would be so his clothes swallowed him whole! It was great to be out of the hospital although I never imagined how much I would miss the hospital bed! It was very difficult to get in and out of bed at first due to the C-section. We came home to our house in Tanglewood - we did not have a nursery done yet though since we knew that we would be moving soon.

Dr. Jack, my OB/Gyn on the day of discharge with Britton. Unfortunately, he was out of town when I had Britton. He did make Britton baby of the month and this picture was published in the Robertson County Times.

E-mama (Brandon's mom), Shelby and Will came to visit as soon as we pulled in the driveway.

We had wonderful friends who came and brought us dinners, as well as Meghan (my sister) who helped me out during the day for the first couple of days.

Exhausted, yet so happy!

Britton had his very first bath on May 24, 2007. This day was also Brandon and my 4th year anniversary! As you can see, he didn't really like the bath very much! It's hard to believe how small he was.

Our family - May 28, 2007

Out to eat at Maggiano's for Uncle Jordan's birthday on June 2, 2007.
Great Opa Oudman (my grandfather) came to visit from Canada.
It was great to see my grandparents with Britton. This is great Oma Oudman.
Uncle Jordan is so happy and content with Britton.

Brandon and I went to celebrate our 4th anniversary on June 8, 2007 at the Melting Pot. It was our first night to be away from Britton!
