A Busy Weekend

Jeff and Abbey decided to pull up some of the bushes in their front yard so they recruited the help of Bill and my SUV.
Reed couldn't believe his daddy would dress him in such an outfit! (or that he was doing physical labor!)
Jeff couldn't figure out why it was so hard to put the shovel in the ground.
Tonight, Braidyn came over to play. She is the daughter of my best friend from high school, Hannah.
They live in Mississippi but we were wondering how early you can prearrange a marriage...
Isn't she adorable!
Britton made sure Braidynn saw all his toys; he played pretty good with her!
Today the Titans beat Chicago to go 9-0! We are so excited for them. Also, today Britton is 18 months old. It's hard to believe that 18 months ago, we were in the hospital and he was just a little small baby and now he's running, talking, and eating everything. He has formed such a little personality and is so much fun to be around. I can only imagine what these next 18 months will be like.

Reading Some Good Books

For those of you who know my Oma Oudman, you've had some of her famous pancakes in the oven. I ventured to make them the other day and was pretty proud of them!
Tonight, Britton decided to read the Bible.
He just picked it up, sat down on the stone fireplace and read away.
Brandon and I both tried to read to him, but he wanted to do it himself.
While Britton read the Bible, Auntie Meghan read one of his little people books. She said it was really good!
Daddy was happy to just relax!

Playing with Daddy

The other night, Auntie Meghan had an impromptu photo session with Britton.
He loves to pose for the camera!
And play with everything he shouldn't.
Daddy got to spend some time with Britton; he's been really busy with a lot of things recently.

He's even trying to teach him some workout moves at an early age!

Election Night

Last night we went over to Jeff and Abbey's for a wonderful dinner and to watch the election results.
Britton wasn't quite sure about the results as they were coming in.
Finally the boys decided to go a little redneck without their shirts. I thought they looked pretty cute!
Britton was really not thrilled when he heard who was winning the presidency.

Third Annual Halloween Party

Tonight was our third annual Halloween party (and yes, it is at the third home).
Finally a picture of the cowboy and Indian!
Abbey, Candace, Bill and Jeff came as the four seasons.
Jeff and Abbey were fall and winter.
Danny and Megan came as bananas and pajamas.
Rachel, Steven, Wesley and Alli also joined us tonight.
Amber and Vince came as Adam and Eve.
Brandon and I were Ellen and Portia - Brandon even wore eyeliner!
This was one of our favorite mummies...
but here was our winner!
It was great to have everyone over, we haven't had any get togethers since moving to this house.
The winner of chubby bunny was Vince, but there were some great efforts. The winning number was 9 large marshmallows.
Charmelle really tried....
Meghan lasted right up there with Vince...
Jeff made it to about 8 marshmallows.
Next we played a couple of games of Halloween twister.
I'm not sure who won this won....
Meghan did end up giving Ellen a nice wedgie.
Lastly we played pin the nose of the pumpkin.
Abbey wasn't sure where she was going!
Finally she made it though.
Charmelle wasn't even fazed by the spinning around.
Meghan ended up in the complete wrong direction.
Meghan and Charmelle - Raggedy Ann and the nurse.
The sisters.
Ava was way too cute.
She did give Britton a goodbye kiss but I didn't have the camera at the right time! We had a great time this year again and can't wait until the next one.
