Hockey Night in Nashville

Kris was ready to play the Predators and we were really excited about watching him!

Britton was mesmerized by the ice, the players and of course Kris!

He was really excited to see that his best friend had made it to the game.

It was Jeff and Abbey's first time to watch a hockey game - I think they had a good time!

Britton did so well, he just watched everything!

No goals, but a couple of penalties!

Kris played well, but Nashville played a little better.

Britton, Brandon and I were still a little sad that the Titans had just lost in the playoffs!

Gnash came to steal Kris' hat after the game.

And of course, since everyone else wanted Kris' signature - we did too!

Britton did so well, it was almost 10:30 at this point, so he was really tired!

A real NHL player is holding me?!

Hanging out with Cousin Kris

We went over to my parents house tonight to hang out with my cousin Kris.

He is an NHL hockey player for the Chicago Blackhawks and is in Nashville to play against the Predators!

Britton wasn't quite sure what to make of him but sure liked the attention!

My mom was especially glad to see her nephew.

Britton decided to try on some hats while we all talked.

And then of course he had to be chased!

And chased,

While Meghan and Chris relaxed,

Kris chased Britton some more!

We all wanted pictures with Kris, I'm so proud of him. He has accomplished so much and is an incredible person.

Mondays with Reed

Britton woke up bright and early Sunday morning for church. He decided to listen to some music at his new table first!

Sunday night we went over to Jeff and Abbey's to exchange Christmas gifts. Britton and Reed played all night on Reed's new slide!

It was so good to see them again.

Britton got to hang out with Reed again on Monday.

They chased each other around and around in circles,

until they were so dizzy they fell down!

New Years Day

Our little family has all experienced the GI virus during the holiday season, Brandon Christmas day, Britton on Monday and then I had it on New Years Eve. Needless to say, we didn't do much for New Years at all!

Since Jerry's been in the hospital, we didn't celebrate Christmas at Christmas this year with the Batsons. He was released on the 26th though so we had Christmas on New Years Day.

Britton got this car from Andy, Tonya, Shelby and Will and he loves it!

Shelby and Will were super excited about their presents.

They helped everyone else open their gifts as well!

Britton was spoilt again... a sit and spin,

building blocks that he absolutely loves,

a radio,

a truck and some other toys as well.

E-daddy was really excited about the sweatshirts that we bought him.

Britton also had the biggest gift in the room, but of course, he really didn't care too much about opening the presents.

His big gift was a table and cars from E-daddy and E-mama.

Brandon got a race car that Britton wasn't too sure about.

Will loved playing with it!

Britton also got an Elmo rocker and Will had to show him how to use it.

Overall, it was a great Christmas. Britton has way too many toys - I'm going to start putting some away and rotating them every couple weeks!
