10 Months Old

Friday - This morning we went to Monkey Joe's to play!

Britton loves the place!

Paityn thought it was pretty cool too!

A couple of our youth bought this awesome shirt for Paityn. Love it!

Tonight we just hung out at home. It was so nice to relax and play some games with the kids.

I think Britton really enjoyed the time.

Saturday - It was so cold out and Britton looked adorable!

Sunday - Paityn is so different than Britton. She loves to get into everything! All cabinets, the fridge, outlets....

Oma and Papa brought Britton this jersey back from Canada. He was so excited!

Paityn is 10 months old today! Where is the time going?

We also got the Night Before Christmas, read by Opa and Grandma. Paityn loved listening to the voices!

We also got Counting Kissses read by great Opa and great Oma. I love that their voices are captured and we will always be able to hear them!

Paityn has grown so much and I'm so afraid she is going to be walking any day. She stood up today without holding onto anything, straight up from sitting down and took one small baby step into my arms. She is changing so quickly!

Britton has listened to the books over and over.

Monday - Britton loves puzzles and is so good at them!

The Things Kids Say

Monday - What a happy little girl.

Tonight Britton decided to play some boxing on the wii. He hasn't played before and had so much fun!

He kept knocking out guy after guy.

Tuesday - Britton said some funny things today. He looked at the dogs and said "mama, Savannah is friggling" I wasn't sure what he meant at first and then realized he meant freezing!

The kids had a lot of fun playing hide and seek.

Britton looked at Paityn at one point and said "mama, God made her"

It's so interesting to hear him say things like that!

Wednesday - my kids really do love each other. Tonight we were going over his bible verse which is "Jesus loves us and sent his son" When Britton repeated it the first time he said "Jesus loves us and Santa came" I just love their thought process!

Thursday - Tonight when it was time for bed, I heard Britton saying the Lord's prayer. He's said it before but each time I'm reminded how amazing it is to hear him say it.

We had a nice relaxing day today after church.

It was nice to not have anywhere to go.

And finally both kids haven't run a fever all day!

New Years

Tuesday - Britton came down with a virus today and has been running a fever. I had seeing my kids sick!

I'm thinking Paityn is going to get it as well.

Wednesday - Despite a fever, the kids just played and played.

I just love how much they love each other.

She just giggles at him.

Friday - So all year I've been asking Brandon to bring stuff to goodwill to donate and today was the last day!

He took it all, even the 300lb TV!

We just hung out at home tonight with the kids. Paityn has a croupy cough, fever, runny nose and teething and Britton is still running a fever. It was a nice quiet way to end the year. We have been blessed in so many ways this year - the birth of Paityn, watching Britton become such a great big brother, working with the youth and Brandon opening the gym. God has blessed us!

Saturday - My little girl is so snuggly.

Britton said the Lord's prayer tonight! He said it the other night but then said the entire thing himself tonight! I'm so proud of him. What an amazing thing to hear your child say. Playing her drums and piano.
