June 1, 2008 We went to the church picnic at Travis Price Park - Britton loved playing with all the big boys!

And the bubbles.
June 2-6, 2008 Britton went to his first VBS at Springfield Baptist. He loved playing with Reed all week.
June 13, 2008 We went to Cracker Barrel with Jeff and Abbey.

The boys loved the rockers - I think Jeff hated the orange!
After eating, we went to play in the fountains.
Britton wasn't sure about the water coming up at him!

June 14, 2008 Britton took his first few steps in Davis Kidd bookstore in Green Hills. It was amazing to see him take off!He loves to get behind the wheel and "drive"June 21, 2008 E-dada's 60th birthday - all his grandkids!

By June 26, 2008 Britton was walking everywhere and dancing to the music - it wears him out!

May 2008

Papa and Oma's new house has a fish pond outside and Britton loves to watch them swim around.
May 25, 2008 Britton went swimming for the first time and absolutely loved the pool! I'm afraid that we're going to have to really watch him around a pool and maybe get some swimming lessons soon!

First Trip to Canada

We traveled to Canada on May 15, 2008 to visit with my family and celebrate my grandparents 55th wedding anniversary.

Britton actually traveled extremely well on the plane, he loved looking out the windows!
We arrived at my dad's house and the first thing Britton did was climb up the stairs - he had never seen stairs before in a house so he was pretty excited!

He made it to the top but couldn't' figure how to make it down without falling down!

He was really happy to see his Opa (my dad) as well.

These are my grandparents - they were celebrating their 55th wedding anniversary!

Britton was really excited to meet all my family, he loved all the attention! This is my Auntie Patti, she loves children!
Brandon played some of the family games. They were put together by my Auntie Leslie and were so much fun!
While we played games, Britton hung out with his great-Oma and great-Opa.

Brandon also got to go horseback riding with some of the cousins.
While daddy was gone, Britton got spoilt! I'm not sure what he all ate this weekend but he sure liked this sour candy.
Britton loved Uncle Greg, he laughed and played with him all weekend.
Britton even got to try out the horse!
He played with his cousins - Brayden and Logan.

We had an "Oudman Idol" competition with judges and karaoke. This is my Auntie Janice and myself giving it a try. Brandon is also the new reigning Oudman Idol.

After our family reunion, we came back to Edmonton and got to spend some time with my best friend, Bethany. We sure miss her and wish she would come visit more often.

Before we left Canada, we made a Build-A-Bear with Britton.

Britton's 1st Birthday

It's hard to believe that Britton is already 1 year old. This year has flown by!



We decided to buy Britton his first car for his birthday. I think he liked it!



We celebrated with a birthday party at Garner Street Park on May 10, 2008.



It was a monkey theme - this cake was decorated by myself and Abbey. Isn't it cute?


I thought the muffins looked pretty good as well!

Britton wasn't too sure about the icing. We had pictures taken the day before and he cried until the icing was off his hands - just a little cupcake and a small amount of icing the day of the party!
