Three Weeks Old

Sunday - if only she slept like this all through the night! She is really enjoying being wide awake from 4-6:30am. She doesn't really cry a lot but just makes tons of noise and keeps me awake!

Monday - She loves to sit in her swing and just listen to the music, but only for a few minutes :) She really likes to move around and see different things!

Tuesday - Tonight was chick chick night but since it was so pretty out, we picked up food and sat outside at Panera.

I can't believe my little girl is 3 weeks old already. Where is the time going?

We love our Tuesday dinner nights with Mo!

Hasn't she changed already! She has been such a blessing to our family already. I'm just amazed to see the love Britton has for her. He gets so concerned when she cries and wants mama to hold her right away. He really hasn't been jealous of her at all although I can tell he is testing his limits a little more. God has really blessed us!

First Bath

It was a gorgeous day for a walk. We decided to get this double stroller, Britton loves to be beside baby sister and it's lightweight and will be great for traveling.

Paityn's umbilical cord had fallen off a couple of days ago so it was time for a real bath! "I'm not sure about this!"

Changing

Wednesday - Britton has discovered root beer floats at Sonic and loves them! I'm a fan too. Today was the first full day all by myself with the two kids, no real plans or anyone coming to visit. We had a really great day!

She is growing so much, I feel like I missed something already but I think it's because Britton was so much smaller!

Friday - she is such a big yawner!

I can't believe how much she has changed already. She was doing really great with sleep but has decided in the past couple nights that it's much funner to stay up at night so around 4 am she is wide awake. She will go back to sleep but it's usually after 6am. Hopefully we can change this!

Two Weeks Old

My little princess is 2 weeks old today!

It's hard to believe how quickly the time has flown by.

I look at Britton and think where did my baby go. I know I didn't miss any of his life but I feel like I have!

Paityn is going to make time go even quicker!

We had a visit from Mrs. Helen Downey today. She is an amazing Christian woman who has been such a support and prayer warrior for our family.

It was a gorgeous day so we went outside and played for awhile. Then, we went with Mo to eat chick chick. Since it was so pretty and I really don't want people around Paityn yet, we took the food and ate outside at Panera.

Growing Up

Sunday - Britton's loves Paityn's bouncy seat. We'll see how long it can hold up with him sitting in it!

She is getting so big!

Monday - Paityn had another check up at the doctor today.

She is 8lb 8oz and 21 inches. She has grown so much!

Wednesday - Britton has been an amazing big brother.

I know I'm bragging on him but he has been such a comforter and help!

Thursday - My two little ones watching Zacchaeus, Britton's favorite song, on DVD.

It was a gorgeous day, so Mo picked us up (I still can't drive) to go to the park.

There were so many people there! It was crazy! Britton did get to swing for quite awhile.

We didn't stay too long since a little boy peed off the side of the stairs, another child who was 7 months old, was spitting up all over the swing, and then we saw a little girl that looked about 18 months just wandering all over by herself. My anxiety level kicked into overdrive!

Uncle Jordan loved on Paityn at our Thursday night family dinner.

Friday - Mo and her friend, Jen, came over and we went to the park in our neighborhood.

It's amazing how much more alert she is already. She just loves watching and listening to Britton. I guess that's because she heard him so much for the past 9 months!
