Wednesday
Thursday - Yes, our daughter has purple lips! She has had thrush so the medicine we're using stains everything purple.
We've gotten some interesting looks since we started this!
Friday - We are trying to get
Britton to sleep in his own bed. We love sleeping with our little boy and know that we
should have done this sooner but it's time now. Brandon started putting him to bed but would fall asleep with him as well. Tonight,
Britton decided he did not want to sleep in his bed and fell asleep in the hallway. Little steps!
Saturday - Tonight was Abbey's 30
th birthday party.
Britton had a great time playing with Reed and we had some adult time!
Sunday - It has been raining nonstop since yesterday morning. We had actually gone to Franklin yesterday to look at
swing sets and almost got stuck due to road flooding. It took over two hours to get home since the interstate was closed
and there was over a foot of standing water on side roads.
This morning, on the way to my parents, there was standing water in quite a few places. The highway to my parents house was closed coming from
Springfield due to flooding across the road. We had to go another way home. It's crazy and
we didn't even get as much rain as other places. Even
Rivergate is flooded causing the mall to be closed.
We did have a great meal at my parents though.
Oma is here for a few more days so it was good to spend some time together.
Grandma (this is what
Britton has called

Britton this great puzzle for his birthday.
He loved it!
For now though, we're just praying for everyone affected by the flooding and that the rain slows soon!
