YEC

We left this afternoon and headed to Nashville for YEC - youth evangelism conference.

It's always so much fun to see my kids singing and raising their hands praising Jesus. The conference tonight was amazing. Loved the music and the speaker. Three of our youth made public decisions, lives were changed tonight!

We went to Cool Springs mall to eat. Jessica is Britton and Paityn's new best friend.

 Finally we made it to the hotel and had group devotion. We ended up having 28 people to to YEC this year, it was an amazing group!

 Since it was Paityn's birthday, we sang Happy birthday

 and had a cupcake for her!

 Saturday - Everyone was exhausted this morning!

 We had had floor seats last night but even though we got there early, we ended up at the very top this morning. 

Pretty amazing view though seeing thousands of youth and workers praising God.

 The Skit Guys were the best part of this morning - they are great!

 

 What a great group!

We went out to eat on 21st Ave.

  and then headed back to Springfield for door knocking, prayers and raising canned goods for the parent assistance program.

Our chaperones were exhausted!

 Our youth did an amazing job and were so excited! They collected so many canned goods and over $70 in cash.

 We had three different groups who went out.

 

 These three boys were our power team today!

 And our straggler team. We couldn't find them for awhile but they ended up doing great!

YEC was a success and we were so blessed in the process.

On another note, my job interview went amazing and I'm starting a new job Tuesday!
