Love Papa

The kids woke up happy and ready to go to church.

They sure love their Papa!

Despite the fact I really am ready to be in our own house, it has been a blessing to be here and spend time together.

Princess Paityn loves her new dresses! She looked beautiful.

Fun with Friends

It was a beautiful day outside.
The kids and I started out the morning with some swimming. I love my little boy's rolls!

We played, ate and played some more.

Beckett loves his big brother and sister. We went to a consignment Matilda Jane show and spoiled Paityn and myself.
Then we went to go and play with Hannah and her three kids. They are home from China - it was so special to spend some time with them!

It was hot but a perfect day to be outside.

The kids played so well together.
It was so great to see Hannah and spend some time together. I am so proud of all her and Ben are doing and am blessed by our friendship. Being with her brought up so many great memories from when we were children/youth.

First Time in the Pool

Could we have a blue eyed boy?
It was beautiful weather so I decided to get in the pool with Beckett. He wasn't quite sure about it!
As long as I held him he seemed okay.
We had a nice relaxing movie night after swimming!

8 Weeks

Even though he still gets up every 3-4 hours in night, the baby snuggles, grins and giggles are the best.
Beckett is 8 weeks old and the sweetest, most content baby. He has four very distinct cries - when he's hungry, belly upset, angry or when he just wants something.
They love him!
I was looking through old pictures and found these. They have grown so much!

Britton loves wearing his youth shirts and some of them actually fit him now!

Movies, Swimming and Jeeps

Love these guys!
We spent the morning at the movie theater watching Rio. Beckett had a huge blowout diaper - that was interesting. Two kids watching a movie in the theater and a blowout.
We came home, did quiet time and then swam for a little while.


Most of our youth were on vacation this week so we headed to BerryDLite. Britton got to ride with Mitchell!

He was beyond excited. We are blessed by some amazing youth.

Snuggles

The kids had their summer program today so I decided to spend the day snuggling.

I know how much I'm going to miss all this time when I go back to work.

We picked up the kids from Bethleham Baptist, stopped by Sonic for some happy hour and came back and relaxed a little while. As much as I'm ready for our home to be done, my parents home is almost like a mini vacation!

It was another beautiful day so we headed out for some swimming.

Lost Tooth

Britton lost his second tooth this morning! It had been loose but Papa pulled it out this am. He did so good! I think Papa is going to be the tooth puller.Britton has also gotten 3 of his molars coming in. I remember his first tooth!

It's hard to believe, but this is my last week of maternity leave. Where did this time go! I'm going to try and concentrate on being with my family and not the fact I have to leave this week.

Today we headed to Rivergate and went to the park for a little while. It was hot!

We ended up not staying too long but the kids did have a good time!

Back for some quiet time and then swimming. The kids are really going to miss being able to go and do all these things I think! We've gotten spoiled!

Arrington Vineyard and VBS Family Night

After church we headed to Arrington Vineyards, south of Nashville. They were having a UTM get together so I had called one of my best friends from college and asked if they wanted to meet!
It was beautiful out there!
Definitely a place I would go back to.

It was a little warm but we found some nice shade.
It was so good to sit, relax, sweat and catch up with Eric and Candace.




Evan and Paityn were so sweet together!

We headed back after for the church VBS Family Night.

Britton loved playing baseball!

Justin and Bailey got Brandon with water balloons.

And the kids sang great.

Paityn had fallen on concrete earlier at the Vineyards and was more concerned about her boo boo than singing until her favorite song was played.

I loved seeing Britton sing his little heart out and enjoy himself!
