Meghan,
Britton and I flew to Canada for a visit with family for about 6 days. We had to wake up really early, 3:30am to catch our flight.
Britton really wasn't sure what was going on!
He does have this new smile though whenever the camera comes out!
He was really excited to see the airplanes!
When we got ready to fly, or so we thought, I gave
Britton a sucker. The only problem was that our flight didn't take off for another hour! We sat on the runway for over an hour and went through 3 suckers!
Luckily,
Britton did really well on the plane. He loved the air vents!
When we finally arrived in Houston, we had missed our next flight but luckily there was another flight in a couple of hours.
So, we got some food and played on the moving walkways! I walked/ran with
Britton until I was sweating and then Auntie Mo took over.
The hardest part was getting him off of them!
Next we were off on the plane to Calgary, it was a four hour flight so we were hoping
Britton would take a nap.
He never watches TV at home, doesn't pay any attention to it. I did bring a portable DVD player with us though; he was so excited to watch the
choo choo!
We were also very lucky the plane was pretty empty so we each took up three seats!
And he and I fell asleep!
And then
watched some more
choo choo (Thomas the train)! We finally arrived in Calgary, 2 hours later than we planned but in one
piece.
Britton did so well! At this point we had been traveling from 3:30am (our house) to 2:30pm in Calgary (1:30 our time) He didn't cry at all! It was so good to see my dad. Next we got into his truck for a 3 hour drive to
Lethbridge.
