Paityn's Birth Day!

Paityn Hope was born via c-section at 11:46am on Tuesday, March 9, 2010. When she started crying, Brandon asked if it was a girl and Dr. Shearer said, "only her head is out!" She definitely has a set of lungs on her. She weighed 8lb. 5oz and was 19 3/4 inches. She was actually the same length as Britton when born, but almost 2 lbs heavier!

I wasn't feeling very well with the epidural medication but I was so happy to see and hear my little girl!

She has a head full of dark hair! What an amazing experience.

I know I'm biased, but I think she is beautiful!

Britton had asked Paityn to bring him James, he was really excited she did!

He was even more excited about baby sister!

After all the excitement, Brandon took a 4 hour nap. We even moved rooms, leaving him in the old room and he slept through it all! Finally, one of his friends from the YMCA stopped by and went and woke him up. He said he didn't realize where he was!

Once he woke up though, he wanted his little girl.

E-daddy came to visit again that night.

Then Uncle Jordan came to see his new niece. Britton made sure he held her right.
