First Day of School

Monday - It is ridiculously hot outside! We played outside for a little while today but in the water!
Paityn thought Britton was so funny!
This is about as close as she got to the water.
Tonight unfortunately, Paityn took a huge fall! She decided to jump over the back of the couch and hit her head on the windowsill and the floor. Luckily she didn't hurt herself any worse!
Tuesday - Paityn was so excited to be going to school with Britton. She apparently did really well but had cried for a little while at the beginning so they got Britton and he calmed her down!
I would've loved to see what he did! Britton told me he just held her and rubbed her back and said it was going to be okay! They are going to a summer program on Tuesdays!
Wednesday - We enjoyed a little swimming with the kids this morning. The weather was perfect!

Tonight was the night where we told the youth that we will not be their full time youth minister. Brandon had found out last night and we told the kids tonight. It was probably one of the hardest things I've ever done. We love the youth and know that God has placed us here to work with them. We are praying for God's direction in our lives and where he wants us to be. Please pray for us as well!
We know God has bigger and better plans but it doesn't make it any easier going through it!
