Tonight was Relay for Life.
It was so hot outside!
Our booth was a fitness one - we had
wii fit to play to benefit Relay, healthy snacks, and then Brandon led a kickboxing class!
We were really proud of the youth for showing up and participating.
It was a great cause!
Thank you to all the
chaperones and members of
SBC who supported our youth by coming out to the fairgrounds or donating healthy food.
Peyton participated in the
womenless beauty
pageant for us.
He raised $177 and won third place!
Paityn loved playing with the youth.
Britton didn't want to go home!
Jessie and Karly sang for Relay Idol for us!
It was a blast just hanging out! Everyone enjoyed some good dancing, walking and talking.
I left around 1 and went and woke up Brandon so he could come back to teach his class. He thought I was an intruder and grabbed my arm and was about to hit me! Luckily he realized it was me just waking him up! Apparently, after his kickboxing class they did 18 different laps around for Relay - they leap
frogged over
each other, skated on pizza boxes, carried on the shoulders with a chair as well and then did the Lucas lap. This was where they jumped on one leg
around the entire loop! Lack of sleep and probably actually doing this
must have been extremely funny.
When I got back this morning, this was all that was left :) Thanks to Justin,
Alannah, Camille and Lincoln for making it all night! It started at 6pm and actually went till noon. We packed up a little early since it was so hot! We had a great time and really just enjoyed hanging out with the youth for a great cause!
